We offer thousands of sophisticated Kanji images that were created solely for this website by calligraphers from China and Japan, two countries with a very rich and deep history of the development of traditional Kanji.

What separates our images from any of the images that are commonly seen imprinted on clothes, video games etc. is that each of our characters was drawn by hand, and licensed only to KanjiGraphy.com. This means that they are not the same as many of the images you have probably seen which were generated by a computer font system.

You will never have to try and imitate the intricate strokes of Kanji to get the character you want, or be confused over any meaning from an English translation – we have gone to great lengths to ensure that our definitions are highly accurate and that the Kanji you have selected is 100% AUTHENTIC.
