Kazumi Hayase started practicing calligraphy at the age of seven.
With the exceptional talent, she ascended to the ultimate grade (9th
grade) holder of calligraphy with an unusual rapidness. She also received
miscellaneous awards from various calligraphy authorities. Now she
lives in the outskirts of Tokyo metropolitan area, and plays a great
role as a calligrapher and a business woman. Many kanji and kana on
this site have been written by this talented calligrapher.

Tatsuya
Narayama
is also a high grade holder of calligraphy diploma. The feature of
his writing style is energetic and dynamic brush stroke. His experience
of Japanese fencing is reflected in his strong writing style.

| |
Teika is conferred full mastership in both Kana and Kanji calligraphy
and qualified for teaching both styles. She has earned the 8th grade
of Kanji and the 9th grade of Kana calligraphy diploma. Soft and elegant
brush stroke is her writing features. In addition she is also a master
of the art of flower arrangement, ceremonial tea-making and Japanese
dancing. |
